Jillian Kaplan, LMT
Jillian graduated from the American Institute of Massage Therapy, south Florida. She moved to Tucson after 10 years of being a licensed massage therapist in Florida to be with family and to experience what the southwest desert has to offer. Never giving the same massage twice, she continually strives to give the individual body what it needs. She loves sports massage in particular, but maintains a deep knowledge and continued practice to Shiatsu, deep tissue/structural massage, Reflexology and more. Jillian's work experience shows her and her clients' the value of therapeutic massage and the role it plays in the prevention of pain.
Since arriving in Tucson, Jillian continues to enhance her skills as a licensed massage therapist and has developed and consolidated her methods to include aromatherapy, hot stone massage, and cranial-sacral processes, aiding those who suffer from sinus and migraine symptoms. Her interest in sports massage has become more amplified as she continues to work to enhance her skills in utilizing pre and post-exertion therapies with an emphasis on rehabilitation, stretching techniques and hydrotherapy.
Jillian's passion for being a facilitator for healing, via educating her clients about their bodies' physical structures and functions, is also evident as she develops classes for Continuing Education Units for other massage therapists. Helping others enhance their skills set and techniques fulfill her life's purpose, both as a facilitator of healing others on a physical and spiritual level and educating others to follow her.
