Acupuncture Treatment in Animals

A few blogs back I featured an article on a zoo that was using acupuncture for a giraffe that was suffering from arthritis.

This story is about a dog that has been getting regular acupuncture treatments for back and shoulder pain after he was struck by a car.

KRON The bay area news station- did this piece on Olso, a 10 year old dog that is receiving acupuncture treatments.

Although acupuncture has been a system of medicine for over 2500 years, this story like many others just confirms that acupuncture isn’t just for humans.
