New Hampshire Senator Sen. Jeanne Shaheen proposed acupuncture as an alternative treatment for veterans with chronic pain Thursday.
The Veteran’s Health Administration said that acupuncture is one of the top three services that veterans request as part of their healthcare.
More now than ever and with the awareness of how addictive opioids are, more and more people that suffer from chronic pain are seeking out better alternatives to deal with that pain.
