Coccidioidomycosis- also known as Valley Fever

Valley Fever is something most of us here in Southern Arizona are very familiar with. Often when we hear or talk about Valley Fever it’s in reference to our dogs being exposed or contracting it.

Many don’t realize that Valley Fever effects on average over 7000 people per year in Arizona.

Because Valley Fever symptoms often present as a cold or upper respiratory infection it is often misdiagnosed.
