Lin Lewis, L.Ac.

Lin has a deep love for her desert life. She grew up here in what she affectionately calls Ttown. Tucson has been her home for as long as she can remember. She believes in the desert's intrinsic ability to heal and the sun as a central source of life. She began her journey into the Healing Arts at Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy where she received her education and completed the program to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. After completing her FSMTB exam- passing the MBLEx she continued to pour her heart into bodywork for 14 years. Her strong understanding of treating many pain conditions led her to the beautiful practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She graduated from The Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2016 with a desire to continue to help others on a deeper level. She is most passionate about working with pain and emotional disharmony. She is nationally certified by the NCCAOM and believes in acupuncture’s ancient wisdom and ability to bring the human body and spirit back into balance. She is currently working with floral essences due to their gentle yet powerful nature. Prior to her years as an LMT and L.Ac. she worked as a caregiver to the senior crowd at a family-owned adult care home, here she gained valuable experience in the necessity of compassion and care for others' health conditions and needs. She spent many years on the customer service and management side of retail and was fundamentally built to help everyone she encounters. Her education was focused on fine art and art history which she still enjoys and considers to be an essential part of herself. Lin enjoys working with mixed media and charcoal and continues to explore art as a hobby. She also enjoys spending time tending to her home and plants. She loves her family and pets very much and values unconditional love and inclusivity of all people alike.
