Amber Maez grew up here on Tucson’s east side, and although she wasn't born here, she considers Tucson home. Graduating from Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in December 2010 and again in March 2011 with over 1000 hrs of massage training. Amber began her career at one of Tucson's local Resorts in 2011. From 2013-2021 Amber lived overseas and was able to work with members of The United States Armed forces at one of the fitness centers on a large Military installation. She is super excited to now be able to land here at Jade Star Acupuncture. 

 

Over her years of practice in massage therapy, Amber has strived to cultivate an environment where anyone can come to the massage table and "just be". Whether someone needs assistance with a complicated chronic pain condition, general health maintenance, or just looking for a momentary respite from the stresses of our everyday lives; She will do her very best to aid the body to heal and relax. Amber truly believes in adopting a client-centered approach to provide a safe place to facilitate healing.

 

Amber holds continuing education in Spa Reflexology, Hot/Cold Stone, Rotator Cuff Dysfunction, Myofascial Integration, Lymphatic Drainage, Abdominal and Visceral approaches, Gua Sha and Cupping, Orthopedic Massage, assisted Stretching, and working with Scar Tissue

 

When not working Amber like spending time with family at her home Southeast of Tucson and is looking forward to exploring a yoga practice. She also loves to find Continuing Education classes whenever possible to further improve and grow her skills in everything this fantastic profession offers.
