Collagen Induction Therapy works to repair lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin texture with results lasting as long as 18 months! A minimally invasive and non-ablative treatment, CIT results in significantly quicker collagen production compared to the more aggressive treatments.

What are the side effects of CIT?

The side effects are minimal and short-lived.  You may experience slight swelling, the feeling of being “sunburned”, and possible peeling

Because of the microneedles, is there any risk of infection from CIT?

The micro-channels created during the treatment close within minutes of performing CIT. Therefore, post-op infections are extremely unlikely. However, to ensure the correct healing environment, we strongly recommend not using glycol acid, acidic skincare, or any other skincare product other than what we provide you with for a full 48 hours.

What is the downtime after a CIT treatment?

Any inflammation you may experience after your treatment is short-lived and fades significantly within hours. You may still see a pinkish hue that can last from 12 to 48 hours on average.

Four to six treatments is the ideal amount to achieve the best results of a specific area. Each treatment is done six weeks apart.

When will I see the results?

Results are gradual due to collagen reproduction occurring over time, you will see immediate improvement after the first treatment and a definite improvement in elasticity, texture, and tone. Best results will be seen after the full six treatments.
