Acupuncture and the Female Libido

A failing libido can cause havoc on not only one’s relationship but how one feels about themselves.
A recent study shows that acupuncture may help cure a woman’s lack of libido.
The women in the study suffered from sexual dysfunction or persistent problems stopping them from experiencing satisfaction from sexual activity.
The study ran from October 2018 thru February 2022, the participants answered questions before and after treatment. Using the Female Sexual Function Index, a way of measuring how pleasurable and satisfying sex is to them. They rated the participants' sensation, sexual desire, sexual arousal, vaginal lubrification, sexual satisfaction, and orgasm.
After the acupuncture treatment, the participants all saw improvement in their FSFI scores.
