We have more than one way we can treat Plantar Fasciitis naturally.
Many of you that follow our blogs are aware that our licensed massage therapist Alissa Smith as recently completed continued education for the treatment of Plantar Fasciitis. A recent study done at Guangxi Hospital looked at acupuncture for the treatment of Plantar Fasciitis.
Researchers compared using only TCM (Traditional Chinese medicine) foot baths as a standalone therapy with combined therapy of foot baths and acupuncture. When used together researchers achieved a total effective rate of 91.8%!
How to know if you are suffering from Plantar Fasciitis-
Plantar fasciitis typically causes a stabbing pain at the bottom of your foot near the heel. The pain is usually the worst with the first few steps after awakening, although it can also be triggered by long periods of standing or rising from sitting. The pain is usually worse after exercise, not during it. Courtesy of Mayo Clinic
If you are suffering from plantar fasciitis, we have multiple tools that we can use to help you, whether it’s with massage therapy or with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. There is no reason to suffer any longer.
