Most of us are aware of the huge amount of non-biodegradable waste we use each day in the United States. Straws have been the biggest topic as of late, and I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Oink Café over the weekend and saw that they are now using paper straws, I hope more business follow suit.
A University in Thailand is working on a waterproof bowl made of leaves. The ladies behind this idea wanted to come up with a replacement for Styrofoam after seeing how a large amount of this in a trash at a local temple.
Wouldn’t this be such a better alternative then plastic or Styrofoam?
